  • GE CARESCAPE™ V100 Monitor

Trusted by clinicians, nurses, and biomeds for spot-checking or continuous monitoring, the low-acuity GE CARESCAPE™ V100 monitor is lightweight and convenient to transport, making it easy to move from one patient to another. Its speed and accuracy allow health care professionals to make fast, quality care decisions.

This clinically validated automatic blood pressure monitor is designed for adult and pediatric use, as well as for neonatal patients with very low perfusion rates. Its improved management of re-pumps, search capability, and dual hose system enable rapid determination times. Lower initial inflation pressures, motion artifact rejection, and low perfusion pressure detection offer optimized patient comfort.

The GE CARESCAPE™ V100 monitor’s temporal artery thermometer (TAT) takes precise body temperature, either from the forehead or behind the ear lobe, and is as accurate as rectal and pulmonary measurements. Its non-invasive technology, with patented Arterial Heat Balance (AHB) software, provides readings free from ambient pressure, while its anti-microbial silver-ion head eliminates the need for probe covers.

Intuitively designed, the GE CARESCAPE™ V100’s clear interface displays patients’ vital signs within seconds. It has a lightweight and robust design, and comes with a minimum 8-hour battery life. When combined with a roll stand, the GE CARESCAPE™ V100 fits in well with established clinical workflows, eliminating the need to carry additional devices during shifts.

The GE CARESCAPE™ V100 monitor stores up to 40 measurements for up to 24 hours, while its built-in thermal dot array printer enables the immediate printout of patient data or results as needed. Vital signs captured by the monitor can also be integrated with an electronic medical record (EMR).

This monitor’s connectivity is compatible with a PC or other third-party solutions like the Capsule™ Technologie and Cerner® 2. Its typical battery life lasts 11 hours before needing a recharge. And, even if its battery is discharged, it still retains valuable patient data.

The GE CARESCAPE™ V100 is specially designed to run cool and does not need fans. With an IPX1 water penetration rating, it comes with superior protection from drips, leaks, and spills. Overall, it’s easy to use, ergonomically shaped, and lightweight for added comfort.

Why Rent Fetal Monitors?

We rent vital signs monitoring equipment and other medical equipment to help hospitals meet unexpected volume and other unique circumstances. As a staple in patient care, vital signs monitors are a common enough piece of equipment, but there are times when funding only stretches so far.

Compared to the cost of outright purchasing more equipment, rental options provide hospitals with a number of benefits. The obvious benefit is that they have access to a flexible stock of vitals monitors on an as-needed basis, but it also gives hospitals and healthcare providers the option to test the actual value of more equipment before committing to a purchase.
